What is Camp Luther?
Camp Luther is a small, family-oriented summer camp. Luther lies on the tip of Ohio and meets the waters of Lake Erie. At Luther, you spend a week attending programming, relaxing, and being with friends and family. My family has a deep connection to Luther, as my parents met there while they were on summer staff 30 years ago. After my parents met and worked at camp, my brother decided to be on staff while he was in college. Last summer, I finally had the opportunity to work on staff. Being a camp counselor at Luther was an amazing experience that I won't forget!
I love Camp Luther for countless reasons, but my favorite parts are the sunsets. Because camp meets with Lake Erie, the sunsets over the waters are astonishing. The sun setting causes the entire lake to mirror amazing colors and clouds. Seeing these sunsets with friends and family has given me an amazing appreciation for Luther. This little camp is my favorite place in the entire world- I hope you find as much beauty in these pictures as I do!
